Flower prices in India have fallen by an average of over half a cent per kg in the past month, according to data released by the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) on Friday.
The price of a single gram of the green, purple and yellow flowers fell by around 10 per cent over the past year from the year before, according a statement from the institute.
The price of 100g rose by just under one per cent.
The annual average of inflation for the country has fallen from 13.9 per cent in the year ending March 2016 to 9.8 per cent this year, according the National Statistical Commission.
